What are the benefits of remote water meters for apartment buildings?

How does the transition to remote water meters work?
We create an installation schedule, coordinate suitable times with residents and install the meters. Installation typically takes 10–15 minutes per meter. Existing and new readings, as well as serial numbers, are recorded during installation.
Where does the data go and how does it affect billing?
Data is securely transmitted through the LoRaWAN network to the Indome system. There, device performance, potential leaks and other anomalies are monitored. Data can also be transferred to compatible property management or accounting software.
Do remote water meters require maintenance?
Remote water meters are generally maintenance-free. If the system detects a technical issue, we receive an automatic notification and will contact you if necessary.
Is the main water meter also read remotely?
The main meter, usually installed by the local water utility, is often read manually and the data is then submitted to Indome. Minor differences may occur because reading times do not always coincide.
